Why You Need an Occupational Health Card (OHC)

The Occupational Health Card is a mandatory requirement for staff working in specific sectors, including restaurants, cafeterias, foodstuff trading, bakeries, catering centers, kindergartens, health clubs, fitness centers, spas, salons, grocery stores, furniture polishing businesses, and printing press operations. This card is issued by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA).

New employees must apply for an OHC within 30 days from their date of arrival or status change. If you apply for an OHC after this 30-day window, you must also provide a Visa Medical Fitness Certificate, unless the visa is not stamped on your passport.

To apply for an Occupational Health Card, you will need the following documents:

- Visa copy
- One passport-sized photo
- Emirates ID copy (optional)
